Yesterday I rode from Jake Mountain trailhead, up Winding Stair Gap Rd and north to Aska and the Tocoa swinging bridge.

Along the way I met a woman who was four miles from completing a solo hike of the entire Appalachian Trail.

This is the Swinging Bridge, aptly named.

Georgia Gravel. Trees are completely bare at the highest elevations.
