First and foremost, I just logged in with a browser which I just installed, FireSUX, because Chrone which I had used for several years did a few things bordering on spyware that caused me to uninstall it. Now FireSUX is complaining that you don't have SSL enabled, Chris. Be expecting more of this patronizing behavior from the oligopoly that wants to ru(i)n your life through breaking things on the web.
Secondly, 7 inches seems excessive. Did one of the rain bands miss Cobb, or did we get that much rain here? I walked down the road about this time last night to buy some eggs and corned beef hash, was splashed by a few cars, and got a nice downpour on the walk back. It wasn't that heavy though.
Today, I did the AC Vinings ride. Not only did several cute girls show up, but the roads were quite clear in Cobb/Fulton.
I think that the nasty stuff must have missed this part of town?

Actually, it was something like 6.91", so I did exaggerate slightly. But real data from the real UGA weather station at Paulding High.
But that rain was at a very steady rate for 8-10 hours.
Good you rode some and got to see a girl!
I'd suspect it was more rain east of Paulding?
