I was on Raccoon Creek Rd today, and I met with a dog that was trying his very best to bite me. There have been dogs at this house for a long time but they seem to be getting worse. Its the house with huge piles of junk all around it on the steep climb. I know I have heard people talk about these dogs before, and it seems like maybe I remember someone say that they were bit, but I am getting really tired of it.

Nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Did you hit him with Halt?

Cody, please file a complaint.

Paulding Animal Control can be reached at (770) 445-1511. The complaint form is at http://www.paulding.gov/DocumentCenter/Home/View/590 and can be dropped off at the office on North Industrial Blvd off Hwy 61 in Dallas. My experience is that Paulding Animal Control is very responsive and takes complaints seriously.

I've had trouble with those dogs several times and filed a complaint last year. An officer came out to the lobby and spoke with me when I dropped off the form and then called me later that day from the guy's front porch. No one answered the door and the dogs were not around but the officer was clear that she would cite the guy if she saw the dogs running loose.

She also recommended spraying and suggested Sabre Red Pepper Gel. I've hit a few dogs with this and it stops them cold. Dicks (Field & Stream) in Kennesaw sells the tactical canister with 18 foot reach for $20. It works.
