I rode through the tunnels at Willow Springs Road and Mount Olivet Road yesterday, and I think that both of them now have LED illumination. They were sodium vapor before if memory serves correctly which isn't particularly good in daylight conditions. Riding through the tunnels, the color temperature matched the solar color temperature outside, and it did not take long for my eyes to acclimate to the lights. This is a move in the right direction.

Here's to hoping that these lights last for more than a few months!

That may have been it now that I think about it. Willow Springs Road has such a short tunnel that lighting isn't much of an issue.
