$2,499.00 is pretty high price tag,

Cheaper drones such as Mavic Air which I own does a pretty good job at following.

I've considered trying the "follow me" settings on my Mavic Pro while riding the Silver Comet, but ruled it out. While that technology might work at the beach or other open areas, the sensors aren't quite sophisticated enough yet for me to completely trust those modes; at least enough to be comfortable.

The processors still have too many "holes". -Telephone or power lines fail to register all too frequently, along with other "invisible" obstacles. Even if the drone has side and backward sensors, a drone can potentially become electronically "boxed-in". I've seen it happen.

I think the only REAL safe way would be for the pilot to have a second person follow and act as a "spotter". That's a good practice when filming anyways. Situational awareness while filming by yourself is difficult at best, and dangerous at the worst.

-Just my two cents worth
