Good News: gentle winds
Bad News: 100% humidity
Which means there might be fog or drizzly conditions and what I call heavy air, 50F.
I plan to be there... riding a mediocre winter pace.

Ditto on the "Mediocre Winter Pace". Bronchitis has been working on me.

So, what does "Mediocre Winter Pace" really mean? I ask because I've been watching you arrange Sky Loop rides here for, I suppose, years now, but I've never joined because I wasn't sure I could stay with you. (And I've never ridden the route by myself because "the sky blue chevrons ... are now faded or paved over", and I don't really want to ride with my nose stuck in a cue sheet.)

I'd suspect that'd be around 14-16 mph.
But winter pace is about NOT seeing anyone stressed out, more about getting some miles in.
Think a "social pace".
Of course, we likely will have several faster riders too, for anyone seeking a faster paced group.
For anyone that thinks they're tough and social, they can double-up on the hills and find out how really tough they are.
It's challenging enough to just get motivated during the dreary, cold winter months.

OK, I should be able to handle that--I'm looking forward to seeing the Sky Route. Will the group be obvious at Florence?

We usually congregate around the pavilion as the time gets close to 9AM. Prior to that you can look for a white Ford F-250 or a red Dodge Ram 2500 or a small gray truck with a bed cover. I'll most likely have on my green windbreaker. I ride a black Trek. Chris rides a blue frame with disc brakes.
