Big cat on video near Williams Lake Rd. Looks pretty big for your run-of-the-mill house cat. Wonder if it is someone's "exotic pet" that has "escaped". I believe the news anchors added after the report that DNR doubts it is a mountain lion but if it is a wildcat it would be related to the Florida Panther as the Eastern Cougar is extinct in the wild. SkyLoopers keep your eyes peeled!

I believe it.

There was a black bear in Acworth a few years back.

I saw a fox at 9:20 PM last night on Pace Rd., north of 278 near the intersection with Rakestraw Mill Rd. It saw my lights and ran across the road right in front of me and into the woods.

Wildlife is all around us and experts think they are so smart. "Distance can be deceiving" LOL. The people in the video were 100% convinced and the video is pretty clear.

Bear sighting is not that unusual.

No they're not I found out. We had a bear in our backyard 2 years ago several times. He kept destroying the bird feeders and liked drinking out of the bird baths. But I don't think that tan kitty is anywhere near big enough to be a mountain lion, especially when compared with the size of the black cat in the video but it sure would've been cool if it had been. I think it's just a big ol' puddy tat.
