Ojai is a town I've ridden through many times. It was a loop we did as an extended training ride.
Extended as in 145+ miles.
This photo, is the entrance to the park for the "lunch break" on the LA Wheelmen Double-Century, which I rode twice. The bell tower is actually the US Post Office.

An exceptional bike trail connects Ojai to Ventura, CA.
Even on my bike tours, I'd ride the loop out of Santa Paula over Sulphur Mtn which makes the scenic plunge into Ojai that the story mentions from the Hollywood movie scene as Shangri-La.
The smell of ocean breezes, Pepper and Eucalyptus trees are something every cyclist should experience. There really are things that "get in your blood", this is one of mine.
