Some perspective...
Scoggins from it's true start on Paul Harris:
1.2 mi 171 ft climb to the crest, just after the American Legion Hall.

Lithia Ladder, we will have two options:
The climb really starts on Sullivan:
1) Greystone Lake
1.5 mi 238 ft climb
2) Ben Hill
1.6 mi 253 ft climb

The Lithia-Sky route is currently marked for the Ben Hill option.

So the LL is 25% longer, with 39% more climb than Scoggins... for the 'easier' Greystone option.

These are the combined effort that transition to different roads with STOP signs.
One thing we don't want is some muron creating Strava segments that go through STOP signs. I hope everyone understands why this is bad.

Cool comparison Geek. Bankhead Hwy/US 78 is definitely on a ridge running east/west
