  CloudLand Circle 90(Hi,Lo),67mi
Description: Start/Finish will be La Fayette GA. I think we will start at 9:30am (maybe 10am), it's a long drive.
I think the fastest way to get there is:
US75 to Resaca, exit 320.
Take GA136 west to LaFayette.
That's awfully simple. Except for one jog where 151/136 combine, it's a "straight shot".

Some rough details:
There will be a few options on the route, the ride will be do able by anyone that can do an average gap climb.
Section 1:
Crossing Shinbone Ridge we take GA193 to the scenic Hog Jowl Rd (one of TomA's favorites). Hog Jowl will take us to the route split and store stop at the scenic Mc Lemore Cove. The climb up Dougherty Gap will be optional. The easier option route is an incredibly scenic route that swings back and climbs Stevens Gap. Dougherty Gap is a very tough climb with five near 180-switchbacks, the last section at the top is a steady 13-14% grade (ouch). The upper route, with incredible views from the Ridge "brow" travels over a series of mega-rollers.
We will re-group at the GA157/136 junction.
Section 2:
The scenic "brow" circle, and...what might be called the heaven-n'-hell split.
All riders will circle the brow ridge with incredible views off Sunset Drive. Returning to GA136. The highland riders will descend GA136 toward Trenton (one of my favorite descents, I've done it several times) and climb Burkhalter Gap (ouch-ouch), the wimpy riders will swing east and take GA189 Lookout Mtn Scenic Hwy, this route is not a cake-walk, descending through what I call the trough, you must climb back to the brow summit. All riders will regroup at the Burkhalter/189 junction, we can all watch the hang gliders. I'd like to regroup at the hang glider launch ramp. I know the Burkhalter riders will want to climb that last 100+ feet to get there!
Section 3:
The descent off the ridge, to Chickamauga.
After regrouping, we will take a couple of really nice roads to reach the top of Nick-a-Jack Gap (TdGa TT), crossing the valley toward Chickamauga for the last climb. This is about 300ft of climb, the last section is tight and twisting, tough for tired legs. Rest stop in Chickamauga.
Section 4:
This will be fast if the winds are favorable, a death-march, if not...
welcome to Straight Gut Rd.
The Challenge Finish:
There will a challenge finish loop on Dripping Springs Rd.
6.5 miles that will add about 400ft of additional climb.

How does that sound?
