BBC continues to be one of the best events I have ever participated in.

SAG was excellent with many well marked vehicles patrolling the course. Police directed traffic at major intersections. Rest stops were well stocked. The final stop on the 68 mile course was especially nice - a bike mechanic with a stand was making repairs, an ambulance was standing by to be dispatched if needed and the sliced pickles and pickle juice were a really nice touch. Post ride food was salad, two types of pasta, BBQ chicken and the beer for those who choose to indulge.

It was a gorgeous day and a great ride. I did the 68 mile route at over 18 MPH average but the upload from Polar to Strava always knocks off 8% so Strava says a little less.

10/10. Will ride again.

My first big group ride back when I started cycling again and still one of my favorites. Looks like they had a good turnout. I saw Scott in the parking lot before the ride started. Saw a lot of other cyclists I haven't seen in a while I rode the Metric with a few buddies from work and it was the first time riding the BBC for most of them. Fun times were had by all even with one of our guys almost wiping out on the right turn off of Hwy 53 onto Erwin Hill. I was right behind him as he started "drifting" with the rear tire down. He made a great save after sliding sideways. Of course, it was right out in the hot sun so we kind of got "cooked" fixing his flat.

Thanks for the video.

I'm pretty sure I was right behind you for much of the ride to the first rest stop.

That Husky at 4:20 looked pretty tired from chasing riders LOL.
