Tim,
Attractive pricing especially when compared to Garmin's inflated $$$.
How is the Polar Computer working out for you?
Have you tried linking the data to Strava? If so, how did that work out?

The Polar V650 ha worked very well for me and I'm very happy with it. It has quirks just like all the other GPS/cycling computers out there but overall it is stable. No crashes or lockups. I think it is a great value.

There was a bug where it just stopped a ride with auto-pause enabled. This only happened on rides >40 miles. The workaround was to disable autopause but a firmware update seems to have fixed this. Polar never officially called it out as a bug or mentioned it as being fixed by the firmware update but it has not occurred for me since the July firmware update.

It has a touch screen and rain or sweat can change it. The solution is to lock the screen. It annoyed me at first but now I start a ride, lock the screen and leave it for the duration of the ride. Screen can still be changed to different views but it won't stop the ride if a drop of sweat happens to hit the screen. This also allows me to put the unit in my pocket when I go into a store.

There is also an upload bug - Windows does not always recognize the device. It has to be deleted and rediscovered in device manager. I sync via bluetooth through my phone most of the time anyway.

Other than that it has been perfect.

Polar Flow (their web based portal) uploads to Strava and/or Training Peaks without problems. It works just like Garmin Connect. Polar Flow allows you to import a course. The only thing I wish it did was structured workouts which the new Garmin 820 does. The screen is spectacular.

The end of that Relive is funny.
