I have just posted this years Lunar Bike Ride which will be held on July 20th from 10P.M. to 1 A.M. on the calendar.

We will have pizza, watermelon, snacks and drinks plus a DJ so you can ride to music.

This is a different type of ride in that it is designed to for the whole family to have fun, socalize and meet old friends as well as make some new ones in the cool of the evening. The Kids love it and keeps them busy. Last year my grandaughter did 20 miles with her friends and just had a blast (a little competion). We even had a few pace lines going.

One trip around the mall = 1 mile. Each lane is designated for a specific group of riders. The lane on the far outside is for the speed demons and the lane closest to the mall is for the kids and those who just want to take their time.

So if you want to do something different with the family, want to get the spouse interested in riding but they don't want to ride on the road, have a friend you want to get started in cycling or just plan want to have some fun come on out and join us. There are also regular restrooms and security will be on hand.

You can get an application here. or for more info you can contact (PM) either me or Cycling50

WB,
You need to get the webmaster to take a look at the cvca.org site. It appears the domain has expired.

Hmmmm.....something is going on here. TomA is right. It says it is expired. I knew we were going to be changing our server, but hope we are not expired without a new one to take its place. I'll talk to my web master and see what is going on.

Appreciate the info TomA. WB thanks for posting the ride.

Now it is going to the CVCA site. If you just changed servers, that was the problem. Sometimes it takes awhile for the url to propigate through all of the DNS servers

Well, I'm still not able to get to our site. I talked with our web master and he says he was supposed to send in info today, but forgot it at home, so it will be tomorrow before they get it. Hope that means it will be up and running soon.

Well once again Webgeek has come through and helped us out! Smile We now have the application in the CVCA section of the up/Downloads. Thanks WG.

If you would like to download a Lunar Day ride application you can one here.
