Post subject: The Making of the Giro Synthe MIPS
No agenda here. I'm not trying to push Giro helmets or have an argument about MIPS.

I just found this video fascinating, that's all, similar to the show "How its Made."

Its amazing how much goes into making things we all take for granted or treat as a commodity.

Interesting video with solid cinema work and narration.
Focus of the video was forming, fabrication, aero and compliance testing,
I'm sure much more actually goes into the design and development process, plus actual, real-world test and evaluation feedback.
For me, I got the feeling it was produced by a marketing team, about a product rather than function, but done well.
It could have been a toaster, maybe?
If I was the producer I'd have told them they missed the point.
Of course, before I started doing cinema work, I'd have just filled in the blanks.
All it would have taken was one ripped, mean looking racer pulling on and fastening the helmet to close the video.
